Module Positions

There are four default module positions within the Private Practice layout, and more positions are available depending on your design requests. Each installation of Private Practice has the option to use the default modules, or to have new positions created. Module positions allow you to be actively in control of more than just your pages and newsblog; you are in control of advertisements, or time sensitive promotions. As well as changing and adapting your layout to suit different goals.

Using module positions allows for easy customization of advertisement and custom site features.

Using the module positions also allows you to be in control of new extensions or plugins. Any plugin, extension or customization can easily be added to your site, without opening up the source code; by simply posting into one of the available module positions.
